Serdar Coskun

Dr Serdar Coskun is the head of ART at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre.
He obtained DVM degree from Turkiye and received MSc and PhD degrees from the Ohio State University, USA. His research interests are in embryology, andrology, genetics and preimplantation genetic testing. He is board certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) as high-complexity clinical laboratory director (HCLD) and embryology laboratory director(ELD). His responsibilities include directing the daily operation of an assisted reproductive laboratory accredited by College of American Pathologist (CAP). The laboratory performs 1600+ cases of oocyte retrieval per year in addition to full andrology services and preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic diseases. He is also leading the very active embryology, andrology and PGD training program. Moreover, he is an adjunct faculty at Alfaisal University and supervised many master students and authored 85 international
publications.
