Artin Ternamian

Dr. Artin TERNAMIAN graduated from the University of Alexandria, Medical School and did his Ob-Gyn residency @ the University of Toronto. He is an Associate Professor, @ the Dept. of Ob-Gyn; University of Toronto & is a founding, former Director of Gyn. Endoscopy Fellowship Program @ St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto. He is a founding Board-member @ Society of Gyn Endoscopists- Canada, SOGC-Risk Management Committee & former Board member-International Society of Gyn Endoscopy. He has a special interest in Gyn. Endoscopy, Patient Safety, Instrument design & Curriculum Development. He holds several International Patents, secured FDA & Canadian approval for Human & Veterinary applications & supervised Graduate Studies @ the Faculty of Applied Bio-Materials Engineering, University of Toronto. He has authored & co-authored several chapters & publications in peer reviewed journals, on Patient Safety, Endoscopy, Competency based teaching & Litigation. He is invited guest speaker & surgeon @ National & International meetings, representing Canada @ the -Consensus Conference on Laparoscopic Entry Middlesbrough UK. -Consensus Conference on Endoscopy Education Perth Australia. -& Consensus Conference on Surgical Error Department of Defense - Washington DC USA.
